Welcome! We’re Sarah and Tim!

We recently moved into our forever home in the Colorado mountains and we want to soak up everything Colorado has to offer. We aim to share everything you need to know to about the best parks, hikes, road trips, day trips, and travel itineraries throughout Colorado.

In the span of our relationship, we’ve traveled to all 7 continents and over 70 countries together, mostly during long-term round-the-world trips we took in 2014, 2018, and 2019. The more we traveled, the more drawn we became to the natural world, hiking, and the outdoors.

By 2020 we’d been living in Wisconsin off-and-on together for a decade, and though we love Madison, we knew our forever home was somewhere out west. To help us figure out where we would want to live, we rented Airbnbs and long-term hotels to stay up to a month or two in various outdoorsy destinations while working remotely.

We always trusted that when we found our home, we’d know. That moment happened in the fall of 2021 when we walked into the house we’d make our own for the very first time.
